To build a strong foundation between the bride and groom’s families, the priest of the groom’s side performs this unique ritual at the bride’s place. The family priest of the groom’s side arrives at the bride’s home and offers a Puja to the strongly built pillars. Worshiping the pillars signifies strengthening the foundation of both families. Now he performs a Hawan at the created pit and after the completion of Hawan Puja, he directs to feed 11 Brahman the traditional food and give him Dakshina (token money).
